DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF PLANAR INDUCTOR ARRAY ANGULAR POSITION SENSOR FOR CRYOGENICS

The sensor to measure the angular position of a target operating at liquid helium temperatures was developed to serve the purpose for space robotics and rovers. A cold electronics based multiplexer circuit coupled to an un-buffered inverter LC oscillator for the signal switching between the inductors was designed and developed.
